Saddlecreek Retreat w/ King Bed & Pool | Sleeps 22

The person I worked with on the phone was nice and responsive when we requested assistance. The house looked like it had been cleaned by a professional group with kitchens and bathrooms clearly addressed. That said, the home was poorly maintained. Flooring needed replacement; the hard floors downstairs looked like they had been flooded and the carpeting upstairs was stained and gross. The pool did not seem like it had been properly maintained. There were cups in the bottom of the pool that should have been handled if a pool crew was coming twice a week as described in the listing information. Pans in the kitchen and grill were also in poor condition. The mattresses were uncomfortable and were covered in plastic under on the bedding so any time you moved it was disruptive. The dishwasher looked new but had not been installed properly the top rack fell out of the dishwasher and the door had no spring and fell on people's feet. There also weren't enough chairs to accommodate the number of people they rent to and several were too broken and wobbly for adults to use. There were other less disruptive issues like broken lights, old linen, and pipes sticking out in the yard by the driveway.

1. Easily over 30 dark stains on the carpets and stairs.2. The main air return vent is filthy. Just walk up the steps, and you will see "caked" on the dirt.3. Rotten flooring in the living area that your foot sinks into when walking on the flooring. 4. Either water damage or improper installation of the flooring, as planks were curled up, broken, and not sticking together or to the sub-floor. Multiple plug-ins, especially upstairs, to mask any moldy smell.5. Limited water pressure in the master bath upstairs and the kitchen downstairs.6. Stained/Dirty couch in the living room.7. VRBO Portal emails and pictures sent to the host of all the above at the time of check-in. The host was supposed to get back to me regarding a refund, but has not as of this writing.
